Today was sucky. It started sucky, as I accidentally tossed poor Murphy's favorite frisbee over a fence into a train yard. He was none too pleased. Then I went to my first class, and missed it because of some crap time change that everyone else knew about. Then I spent $700 on books. To my future professor who thought we needed 7 books for one semester . . . REALLY??? You do realize I have other classes and no money, right? Clearly you are going to be one of those profs who has no idea I am actually enrolled full time and might have to potentially read for other classes. Harumph.
The nap, cookies, and riesling are all working to turn it around. On a sidenote, as I watched the Falcons pre-season game, I wondered whether any of Vick's teammates were going to get caught in this dog fighting scandal. I mean, some of the players probably hang out in the off season, right? Doing fun things like abusing defenseless animals and betting on their demise? So, is anyone else going to be caught up in this?
